It looks like it’s the end to another season at the #CNE2012 and it’s a sad time for everyone. Back to school, a return to colder weather, and the end of the EX. Who would be happy?
We enjoyed our time as CNE bloggers and packed in as much as we could. We visited the CNE 9 times, ate almost everything in sight, played games and rode almost all the ride we could!
Here are some of our highlights. It was Richard’s first time trying any deep-fried food at the EX, and he loved it (the deep-fried Twix bars especially). We loved the rides and our favourite was the PC Financial Sky Ride, which gave us an amazing aerial view of the EX and the city skyline, which made for some great photos.
We love shopping, and the shopping at the CNE was great this year. The outlet shopping had everything from clothing and accessories to furniture. It was fun spending time there looking through the racks while taking a break from the heat. Another great shopping destination was the International Pavillion, where we found great accessories and clothing from around the world.
We had an incredible summer and it was thanks to our time at the CNE. Now it’s time for us to start the countdown until next year’s CNE. At least we have over 300 days to plan out what we will do at #CNE2013, see you there!
